What is the difference between an address bar and search bar?

It is sad that most people using the internet do not understand the difference between an address bar and a search bar in their browsers. Actually many use the search bar for everything. This article explains the difference between an address bar and a search bar.

Usually, we type a website address in the address bar e.g. when we want to open a website such as Facebook, we type the address in the address bar. i.e. we type www.facebook.com in the address bar. When we want to search the internet for information e.g. when we want to search for the best web hosting companies in Kenya, we type it the search bar and press enter. The browser will use the default search engine to search and return the results to you.

The address bar is usually found bellow the tabs.
